Walkthrough & Notes

This quest counts for the Aiding the Norcrofts deed. Completing Aiding the Eastemnet will cancel this quest This is an instanced public questing area. From the instance spawn point, turn left then first left (either direction is fine with similar layout) into a small chamber where you will find a Rock blocking the mechanism. Right click on the rocks to repair the mechanism with a short delay. Repair 6 rocks to complete the quest. Note that once the mechanisms in each room (larger rooms have two mechanisms) are repaired, the room will fill up to ankle level with fluorescent green water. Move out of the green water as it gives a debuff (Acidic Waters which reduces Morale over time). Once the water subsides you can safely move though the areas, just avoid penning yourself in when opening the mechanisms. Leave via the entrance portal or use the 'Leave Instance' feature (right click the character portrait).

Bestowal dialogue 'I have reports that the Limlight is beginning to have a distinctive odour. We have seen this before. The mechanisms within the Dwergfant have become damaged or impeded. They must be cleared before the river is truly fouled. 'Head to the Dwergfant, discover what is broken with the mechanisms, and get them up and running again.' Background If the mechanisms within the Dwergfant do not work, the Limlight will be ruined. Objective 1 Repair mechanisms in the Dwergfant (0/6) The impaired mechanisms can be found within the Dwergfant. Aldbéort has asked you to venture to the Dwergfant and repair the mechanisms within. Aldbéort: 'Shall we set off to the Dwergfant?' Enter the Public Instance: Dwergfant Objective 2 Talk to Aldbéort Aldbéort is awaiting you at Cliving. Aldbéort will be pleased to hear that the Dwergfant is fully functional again. Aldbéort: 'The water is already clearing up along the river. No doubt we shall have to return, but for today, the work is done.'
